Celebrity Q&A

The celebrities’ take to the stage in unscripted and unbelievable Q&A sessions. Hear stories from their past and future projects. You never know what they are going to say!  Plus fans get the chance to ask some questions!

Autographs

Celebrity guests from movie stars, to voice actors, to comic creators will be at the show all weekend signing autographs, so you can have a keepsake that will last a lifetime. Bring your own item to them or select from one of the glossy photos provided at their table.

NOTE: Guests typically charge a nominal fee to autograph an item. Prices vary.

Comic Book Pros

Meet the professional artists that draw and colour the most popular comic books from DC, Marvel and Image.  Feature artists this year include Ben Bishop, Derek Laufman and more.  Artist will be doing LIVE DRAWING BATTLES AND PRESENTATIONS, all performed under a camera a video screen so you can see their creations come to life.

Indie Artists

Indie meets pro in this special area where you will find all of your favorite pencillers, inkers, and writers.  Here you’ll find it all – comics, graphic novels, limited edition prints and best of all, original art and sketches made by the talented people at the table.

Live Drawing Theatre

In the featured artist area you can stand back and watch a masterpiece come to life right in front of your eyes.  Our talented artist will be put under a close up camera that broadcasts their handy work to a big screen.  Drop by and offer them a drawing suggestions.

Cosplay Competition 

One of the most popular events; Canada’s Got Cosplay! Fans showcasing their craftsmanship in original costumes derived from the comic, sci-fi, horror, anime and fantasy worlds – all on stage for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights. From caped-crusaders to wild anime characters, be awed as a spectator or strut your stuff on stage.

From costuming to acting, our lineup of pros are on hand to show you how to take your skills to the next level. Attend a panel, check out a demo, or meet them one-on-one. Check the schedule for specific topics, days, and times.

Card Tourn & Trading

Disconnect from the digital and let your imagination and the spirit of friendship take your game to the next level.  Trading tables and tons of rare cards for sale.

We have all sorts of creators in our artist alley that are making the most original and adorable wearables,  shareables and accessories that are perfect for any comic con fan.

Stage Shows

We have programming that entertains and is included with admission.  Catch celebrities’ teamed up with fans in Funily Feud, Live action stunt shows, movie screenings, sing-a-longs and more

Lip Sync Battle

The highly energetic Bear Sailor Moon hosts a lip sync battle like no other.  Can Pikachu out perform Spiderman to a classic tune like Don’t Stop Believing?  Guess you’ll have to check it out and decide for yourself.  Watch or participate, it’s a lot of fun.

Itasha Cars

On display will be a select tricked-out car or two from the Ontario Itasha Car group. In Japan, an itasha is a car decorated with images of characters from anime, manga, or video games.

Retro Arcade

Button smashing fun! We have an array of classic arcade machines for you to play for absolutely free.  No quarters required.

Captain’s Chair

Feel like a boss when you take your place at Kirk’s Captain’s Chair.  The chair plays all the sounds from the TV series and we have tribbles and Star Trek uniforms you can put on to make the photo feel authentic.

Dr. Who Society

Meet local Whovians who time travelled here to share stories from across the galaxy. Step into the Tardis (it’s bigger on the inside) explore props and displays from the world of Doctor Who but watch out for all those pesky Dalek robots!

Family Fun

Our event prides itself on having a lot of activities and attractions that are family-oriented, so come on down with the whole family to meet your favorite Superheroes, Princesses, voice actors, or maybe even dress the whole family in costumes. Kids 6 years and younger Free with adult admission.
